SOUTH COAST

Dorset   Have you ever dreamt of riding along miles of sandy beach, with the waves lapping your horses hooves and the sea breeze in your face? The feeling is pure exhilaration.
In the winter, why not make your fantasy a reality..... These weekends are very popular, so early booking isHorse riding along the beach .... recommended. Two different sets of downs, the heath land and a huge forest, means that for the rest of the year, the riding weekends are still great fun with lots of varied riding.
The beauty of this part of the country is the combination of excellent and varied terrain for riding (including Studland Beach) and the wonderful views. The scenery is spectacular, like Ballard Down overlooking Studland Beach and Swanage Bay. Plus there's the forest with Sika and Roe deer, squirrels, rabbits etc, the wild heath land and Nine Barrow Downs overlooking Corfe Castle. www.beachriding.net
